If you've emailed me about a missing location or a location that needed correcting, please check the map now. I still need to put that states in order on the left toolbar, so actually zoom in on the map to find the location for now. Also, if you scroll to the bottom of the left toolbar, you'll see that there is a second page of listings. Check there, also. I will clean the toolbar up and make this thing more usable some time before morning.
If you email me about a correction, please be as specific as possible about why it needs to be fixed. Telling me I've labeled incorrectly isn't enough.
More soon.

What about the AMC Theatre at Easton Mall in Columbus? Thanks
ReplyDeleteIt's on there, homey. You may have to go to the second page of the map, though.
ReplyDelete"CA - San Diego - Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 & IMAX" says it is being disputed, this is definitely a LIEMAX.
ReplyDeleteThe Gardenwalk in Anaheim, California is a fake. I saw Monsters Vs. Aliens there with my ex-girlfriend there a couple of months ago. It's definitely a small screen, nothing at all like the real IMAX at The Bridge, for instance.
ReplyDeleteA few updates from the state of Washington.
ReplyDeleteReal: Boeing Imax Theater in Seattle.
Fake: Regal Cinemas - Thornton Place Stadium 14 & Imax
Florida - Regal Pointe Orlando on International Drive is Real, all the rest in Orlando are fake
ReplyDeleteAre you going to do Ontario (the birthplace of IMAX) by any chance? I could definitely e-mail the details on the places I know.
ReplyDeleteAMC Rosedale 14 in Roseville, MN just opened an "IMAX" screen. Not sure of the size, but it seems to be one of the larger screens that's been retrofitted.
ReplyDeleteAMC 14 National City is definitely a LieMax.
ReplyDeleteI was like what the F**K when I entered the auditorium. Fortunately I just paid 10$ for this and even though its slightly bigger and the sound is better.
I was like this is not what IMax should be like. Its more like a big screen but that s it.
THen I googled fake Imax and found that blog among other websites.
Turned out I m not that crazy. It's like the difference between a Top notch BMW and a series 3. Which is a good car but can compete with high end normal brands car.
I just got back from the Imax at Easton. The map indicates its a real Imax, but the screen I saw at Easton was the size of a standard movie theater screen (maybe slightly bigger).
